1. Registration Fee: Rs. 2% of the total value written in the deed of transfer of property. If the value of the deed is Rs. 24,000 or less, it has to be deposited in cash and if it is more than Rs.
2. Stamp duty: Rs. 3% of the total value written on the deed of transfer of property. A maximum of Rs 1,200 non-judicial stamp can be used in the document. The rest of the money in the stamp sector has to be deposited through pay-order to the local Sonali Bank Ltd. at Code No. 1162102.
3. Local Government Tax: 3% of the total value written in the property deed. The local Sonali Bank Limited has to deposit the account number of the concerned department through pay-order.
4. Other fees:
A) Affidavit on stamp of Rs.

C) N fee: -
(i) For every 300 (three hundred) words in Bengali, one page or part of it is 18 rupees.
(ii) 24 rupees for one page or part of every 300 (three hundred) words in English.
D) NN Fee (Copywriters' Remuneration) -
(i) 24 rupees for one page or part of it with 300 (three hundred) words in Bengali.
(ii) Rs. 36 for one page or part of every 300 (three hundred) words in English.
E) Court fee of Rs. 10 per application for transfer of property. Comment: -
1. N Fee and E Fee, along with the registration fee, must be submitted to Code No. 1422201 through pay order.
2. NN fee has to be deposited in cash at the registry office.
Note: Local government tax is not applicable to any donation in favor of registered religious, charitable, sports and cultural institutions in the case of deed of donation. The following are two examples for the convenience of users: Example-01 Suppose, in the Rahinipara mouza of Kumarkhali, 10 percent of land will be donated / hebabil will be rewarded with a value of Rs. 300,000. The cost of the land registry will be as follows:
1. Registration fee: 2% of 300,000 = 6,000 rupees.
2. Stamp duty: 3% of 300,000 = Rs.
3. Local government tax: 3% of 300,000 = 90,000 rupees.

D) NN fee: 240 rupees.
E) Court fee: 10 rupees. Example-02 Suppose, in the Batikamara mouza of Kumarkhali, 10 percent of the land will be donated / hebabil will be rewarded with a value of Rs. 900,000. The cost of the land registry will be as follows:
1. Registration fee: 2% of 900,000 = 18,000 rupees.
2. Stamp duty: 3% of 300,000 = Rs. 260,000.
3. Local Government Tax: 3% of 300,000 = Rs.
